A drone violated Romanian airspace and search teams were sent to look for its wreckage in an unpopulated area outside Periprava, in the Danube Delta. Recovery of debris days or weeks after the event is routine here: the delta is sparsely inhabited marshland, and fragments are often found by border patrols or civilians rather than located directly.
