A second "small aerial target" was detected 45 km east of Sfântu Gheorghe, Tulcea, two days after a near-identical event further south. Spanish and Romanian fighters were again launched to identify it visually and again saw nothing. Radar contact was lost south of Cogealac and no impact zones were found. Like its predecessor it remains unattributed.
