A Russian drone entered Romanian airspace shortly before 18:00 over Sfântu Gheorghe, tens of kilometres from the Ukrainian border, and left about twenty minutes later over Sulina, continuing across the Romanian exclusive economic zone. Residents of Tulcea County were warned through the RO-Alert system to watch for falling objects. The crossing came two weeks after fragments of a Russian drone washed ashore near Mamaia in Constanța County.
