Czech Air Force AH-1Z Delivered

A third AH-1Z Viper arrived at Namest nad Oslavou as the Czech Air Force formally accepted its new H-1 helicopter system at a ceremony attended by the defence minister and the chief of the general staff. The aircraft arrived alongside the service's first UH-1Y Venom, three weeks after the initial pair of Vipers had been flown in. The mixed fleet of twenty helicopters, twelve purchased and eight transferred by the United States, is replacing the Mi-24 and Mi-35 family, some of which Prague was passing on to Ukraine.
