Description

Kangdong Airport was a military airfield located approximately 29 km east-northeast of Pyongyang near Kangdong, North Korea. The infrastructure included an asphalt runway and a parallel taxiway. Between 2020 and 2024, the airport was demolished. The site was repurposed for the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex, which opened on the former airfield grounds on March 15, 2024.
