Description

Pukchang Airport is a military airfield located in Pyongan-namdo, North Korea, serving the city of Sunchon. The installation is the station for the Korean People's Army Air and Anti-Air Force Unit 447, situated in Ryongak-dong.

The base hosts a fighter regiment of Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 aircraft. Infrastructure consists of several aprons and a taxiway system that provides access to aircraft revetments and underground storage facilities.
