Description

Kyongsong Chuul Airport was a military airfield located in Kyongsong-gun, Hamgyong-bukto, North Korea. The installation was situated on the east coast, north of Orang Airport and south of the city of Chongjin.

The base was subordinate to the 8th Air Transport Division and functioned as the site for an officer training school. Infrastructure at the facility included an asphalt runway.

In 2018, the airport underwent a period of reconstruction. The military facility was demolished in 2019, and the site was converted into the Jungphyong Vegetable Greenhouse Farm and Tree Nursery.
