Description
Riwon Airport is a military installation located in RiwΕn-gun, Hamgyong-namdo, North Korea. The facility includes an asphalt runway supported by a full-length parallel taxiway with aprons situated at both ends. Infrastructure includes taxiways extending approximately 1.5 km north of the airfield to dispersed and underground aircraft storage sites. The base hosts a fighter regiment of MiG-21 jets and maintains an inventory of J-5 aircraft.
