Description

Wadi Abu Rish Air Base is an Egyptian Air Force facility located 43 miles (69 km) east of Biba within the Beni Suef Governorate. The installation is owned by the Egyptian Ministry of Defense.

The base hosts the 42 Squadron, assigned to the 104 Tactical Fighter Wing under the 149 Air Division. It also houses the Aviation and Training Center. Both the 42 Squadron and the Aviation and Training Center operate Mikoyan MiG-29M/M2 aircraft.
