Godofredo Juliano Air Base (Lumbia Air Base)

Colonel Godofredo Juliano Air Base, historically designated as Lumbia Air Base, is a Philippine Air Force installation located in Barangay Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. Established in the 1930s during the American administration of the Philippines, the airfield was captured by Japanese forces during World War II and extended using forced labor. The site functioned as the main civilian airport for Cagayan de Oro and Northern Mindanao until June 14, 2013, when commercial operations transferred to Laguindingan Airport. Following the civilian closure, airport infrastructure was repurposed for military administrative and residential use. In 2026, the base was renamed after World War II fighter pilot Colonel Godofredo Juliano, former commander of the 1st Fighter Squadron.

The base is under the command of the 590th Air Base Group of the Philippine Air Force. In February 2017, the Philippine Air Force began relocating the 15th Strike Wing to the facility. Hosted air assets include OV-10 Bronco light attack aircraft, alongside UH-1 Huey and MD-520MG Defender helicopters. Under the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement, the installation is also designated for United States military facility construction and access under Philippine Air Force jurisdiction.
