Kamenny Ruchey Air Base (Mongokhto)

Kamenny Ruchey, also identified as Mongokhto and Alekseyevka, is a military air base in Khabarovsk Krai, Russia, located 29 kilometers north of Sovetskaya Gavan and north of Vanino.

Established in 1953, the facility operated as a joint Soviet Navy base subordinate to the Pacific Fleet Air Force. Stationed units included the 568th Independent Guards Mixed Aviation Regiment from 1953 and the 570th Maritime Missile Aviation Regiment from 1953 to 1994. The 143rd Naval Aviation Division operated Tupolev Tu-16 and Tupolev Tu-22M aircraft from the airfield. A 1971 analysis documented two regiments flying Tu-16 aircraft equipped with K-10S and Kh-22 anti-ship missiles. The Tu-16s were subsequently phased out following the deployment of Tu-22M aircraft beginning in October 1980. By 1982, operations included two Tu-22M regiments, two Tu-16 regiments, and one Tupolev Tu-142 regiment. The 310th Independent Long-Range Anti-Submarine Aviation Regiment also operated Tu-142 aircraft at the site starting in 1978.

Base infrastructure incorporates 63 hardened aircraft areas. A naval nuclear weapons storage facility was historically documented either at the airfield or at the nearby settlement of Maygatka.

Currently operated by Russian Naval Aviation as a Pacific Fleet installation, Kamenny Ruchey hosts an Independent Anti-Submarine Aviation Squadron subordinate to the 7062nd Port-Arthur Naval Aviation Air Base.
