Description
Malatya Erhaç Air Base is a joint military and public aviation facility located 34 kilometers from Malatya, Turkey. Established in 1941, the installation supports both civil commercial traffic and Turkish Land Forces operations.
The base hosts the 2nd Land Aviation Regiment Command, an element led by a Colonel. The unit operates TAI/AgustaWestland T129 ATAK combat helicopters, which were integrated into the command's inventory in 2014.
