Description
Erkilet Air Base, also designated as Kayseri Erkilet Airport (IATA: ASR, ICAO: LTAU), is a military airbase and public airport situated five kilometers north of Kayseri in the Kayseri Province of Turkey. The facility facilitates travel to the Cappadocia region.
In March 2007, an international terminal opened, increasing total passenger capacity to one million per year. The infrastructure accommodates aircraft up to the size of the Boeing 747, while Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft frequently utilize the facility.
