Merzifon Air Base is located in Merzifon, Amasya Province, Turkey. The installation is operated by the Turkish Air Force (Türk Hava Kuvvetleri) and serves as the 5th Air Wing (Ana Jet Üs or AJÜ). It functions under the 2nd Air Force Command (Hava Kuvvet Komutanligi), which also administers wings at Malatya/Erhaç, Diyarbakır, and İncirlik. The facility also supports scheduled and charter civilian airline operations.
